Big Cedar Lodge... Summer Vacation 2009What a beautiful place for our family to enjoy a summer w/o the beach!
Our little girl would be getting her cast off in one month, so this month we decided
a time with a little cooler climate and no sand to get under the cast was in order!
I suppose we could have had a few less animals on the walls... at least that was
the feeling from our oldest KG!
There was an abundance of wildlife in this Bass Pro Shop Lodge of world renown.
At the fishing pond, PopT and our little one threw in a line and WON: the biggest catch of the day award. Yes... she pulled in about an 8 pound catfish... well, got it to the surface before he broke the line and scurried away to wait for more pleasing fishfood.
There was even time for a morning of painted toes and great coffee, just me and my girls!
Whether we go back again or not is yet to be seen, but this year, it was the right place and the right time.
