T-ball 2010...Let the games begin! ... as THEY WATCH!!!

The sounds of summer...
Little League begins... and even the practices are
WITNESSED
by the ones who love the players MOST!!!
"SO GREAT A CLOUD OF WITNESSES..."
I believe that life can be like some of these games...
learning the rules,
understanding the boundaries, and that they are there for our
safety as well as our success in
"playing the game"!
Those who've "played" before us,
SHOW US.... ENCOURAGE US.... TEACH US!

  [God Disciplines His Sons] Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.

THANK YOU FATHER for....

...SO great a cloud of witnesses...
THANK YOU JESUS... we are never alone as we learn... AND
as we play!!

I think too, that maybe the ones who understand the game, may well be standing
RIGHT BESIDE US... whispering in our ears...
"Watch the ball, it will come off the bat about here...
When I tell you RUN!!!
Get ready... this is what will happen next"
For me..... THAT is the kind of encouragement that REALLY helps!

(even if here on Earth our "witnesses" might get distracted",
the ones who went before... and the ones who "WATCH" us NEVER get distracted!)
They watch and cheer us on from Heavenly places as
we "hit the ball", and
as we miss...
I am encouraged that we have those who set the standards high
so that we have a "mark to hit"!
... so WE KNOW... "this is the path... walk therein!"
