Indians were on the warpath to a Superbowl victory against the Anson Tigers!
It was a different team we watched this day. They KNEW what their jobs were!The coaches didn't need to pick them up and place them in position
(well, not quite as often:)
They knew the task at hand and were up to the job!
There were even a few surprises like centers carrying the ball!and lest we forget.... learning to be good contenders means also learning that when people care more about winning that playing the game fairly, you must still maintain integrity in spite of the opponent's lack thereof. Hiding your flags beneath an untucked shirttail certainly seemed illegal to this Tahtee... but, who am I to say?
Regardless, our little guys outdid themselves, and they were winners with great attitudes!
The end of the game came with all their adoring fans (and I do mean adoring... grandmothers, mothers, aunts, uncles, sisters, and brothers... not to mention Dads and grandads... )with a run through tunnel like that, how could you feel anything but heroic?
And heroes they were....JN Indians first season EVER for pee wee football
They took second in the entire league!
