November 11th turned out to be a lovely day for a birthday atthe new Jim Ned park!!!
TS turned 3 and was all about the camera that
he KNEW Eddy would be giving him!
and yes, that was exactly his gift
(even if they had to take it back for one that worked:(
Then Saturday we were off to the playoffs for the first peewee football team of this little area.Amazing that after a few short weeks they were no longer running and running and running after whoever had the ball... even to the extent of running all they way to the end zone and back to the coach again... This little team of Indians really knew what they were doing!
Impressive guys... on to the "Superbowl" next week!!!
I've seen this set up before... many years ago.... PopT was on the pitcher's mound and Uncle Philip was on first base... but these 2 hall of famers were having a great time teaching a softball enthusiast just how to hold the bat to get the greatest distance and speed. I think PopT's idea of a pitching machine was exactly the right gift this year for KG 9 year old birthday....TR came running in to tell Emi... "I don't get to bat Emi."
"Why, is KG taking too many turns?"
"No Emi, it's the Daddy's... they won't let us little kids have a turn!"
Guess some THE GAME just keeps 'em young!!!
I love that about our guys! They still know how to play...
now we just need to work on the "taking turns deal"
Nana was down with the STUFF... that seemed to be everywhere these days, so Pop was the deliverer of good things! Then he gets to be a kid too and show TS just how a bow and arrow works! GREAT... another weapon!!! oh well.... warriors need all sorts of tools huh?
