Thanksgiving 08 (100th post)

Happy Thanksgiving Day!
It began with the "pink" of the sunrise, and if you know my family... you KNOW WHO claims that gift. Thank You Father for a glorious beginning of a ThankFULL day.

A morning walk let me revel in the reds of the season... in so many places, and even some quite unexpected. Eric the red still clung to some of his vibrant vestige just to herald my day.
Everyone brought something.... and so much somethings that I felt much like the little boy with the loaves and fishes.... instead of baskets gathered, we had pans and pans and pans for leftovers to be taken and eaten once again... sometimes better than even the first time.

... Then....
PICTURES!!!
Yes, some of us really work to keep from participating in the required family remembrances!
Much like an ostrich with his head in the sand.... delaying the inevitable....
BUT!
Pictures we did take, and some of you may be the recipients of the effort in our holiday greetings.

This was a good Thanksgiving day here in Lemons Gap!
The only thing that would have made it better was to have had the rest of the family with us too!
We miss all of you who hold residence in our hearts!
You KNOW who you are.... and I pray you will always know the truth of my heart even more than the words you see here or even the ones you might hear. What flows from our hearts is from the pure wells of TRUTH of which there can be no compare and no doubt.
Bless us all as the next season is upon us!
Peace, Good WILL to men! Hallelujah
